What We’re Eating This Week: January Week 1

Welcome to the first Sunday of 2026! The start of a new year always feels full of possibility, and I’m entering this season with so much hope. Our church theme, “It’s a New Season,” has been a sweet reminder that God is always doing something new—even in the ordinary. I pray this year meets you with fresh vision, renewed hope, and grace for every moment. Let’s get into this week’s meal plan.


Full Meal Plan for January 5-11

MONDAY

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs + toast + sliced strawberries
Snack: Apple slices + peanut butter
Lunch: Turkey & cheese roll-ups + crackers + cucumber slices
Snack: Yogurt Pouch
Dinner: Chicken thighs (TBD)


TUESDAY

Breakfast: Oatmeal with banana slices + maple syrup
Snack: Grapes + cheese stick
Lunch: Indomie noodles + boiled egg
Snack: Carrot sticks + ranch
Dinner: Tilapia + fries + salad


WEDNESDAY

Breakfast: Yogurt parfait (yogurt + granola + berries)
Snack: Veggie sticks + grapes
Lunch: PB&J sandwich + carrot sticks
Snack: Cupcakes
Dinner: Yam porridge + peppered goat + plantain


THURSDAY

Breakfast: Pancakes + bacon + mixed fruits
Snack: Strawberries + whipped yogurt dip
Lunch: Mac & cheese + peas
Snack: Snack board
Dinner: Leftovers


FRIDAY

Breakfast: French toast sticks + scrambled eggs + berries
Snack: Trail mix
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwich + potato chips
Snack: Grapes + cheese slices
Dinner: Nigerian Fried Rice + chicken + plantain


SATURDAY

Breakfast: Akara + Oatmeal
Snack: Veggie straws + applesauce
Lunch: Indomie noodles + boiled egg
Snack: Plantain bread
Dinner: Okra Soup


SUNDAY

Breakfast: Peanut butter toast + eggs + mixed fruits
Snack: N/A
Lunch: Gari + beef patty
Snack: Popcorn + fruit cup
Dinner: Rasta Pasta + oxtails + coleslaw
